Funeral Arrangements
Making the funeral arrangements.
A helping hand
As a caring family business, we are only too aware that making funeral arrangements can be a stressful time for families. If you feel that this may prove to be a difficult process for you, please be assured that we are here to offer a guiding hand and ensure that everything is done properly.
Meeting your needs
Because every funeral is unique, there will be a variety of topics that need discussing. These will of course include your own requirements and any particular instructions that might have been left by the deceased; whether for burial, cremation or an alternative funeral.

(Left to Right) Mike Sunderland,Jim Nightingale,Joe Buckley,Linda Ottley & Ged Stewart.
Making the right choices
You may for example, wish to consider a service in church or at the crematorium chapel, the choice of coffins or the number of vehicles that will be required. At the same time, we can discuss music, floral tributes, donations, newspaper notices and catering amongst others.
The legal requirements
Discussions can take place before or after registration of the death and at a place of your choosing; at a family member’s address or our premises for example. We will also explain a series of forms that must be completed and signed by the executor/next of kin to allow the funeral to take place.
About our costs
Following these discussions, a written estimate of the costs for the funeral will be provided once all the details are known. For your further information, please click here.
